After the US animated series “South Park” targeted Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, the Duchess of Sussex is considering legal action.

Montecito – The animated series “South Park” has been running in the USA since 1997 and has often made headlines due to its provocative humor. The fans love the socially critical series by Trey Parker (53) and Matt Stone (51) – the celebrities fear them. Stars like Oprah Winfrey (69) or Will Smith (54) are regularly scrutinized in “South Park” in an unflattering way, and now it has Megan Markle (41) and Prince Harry (38) caught.

“Stupid prince and his stupid wife”: Meghan and Harry’s legal team wants to check “South Park” episode

The “South Park” episode “Worldwide Privacy Tour” is all about a royal Canadian couple who want to withdraw from the public eye, but never miss an opportunity to publicly announce their intention – the Greetings from Megxit. Visually, the figures also bear a strong resemblance to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, the supposed Harry can be seen with red hair and a red beard, his wife wears an outfit that is strongly reminiscent of Meghan’s dress at the “Trooping the Color” military parade in 2018 .

“I’m sick of hearing from them, but I can’t escape them! They’re everywhere,” explains main character Kyle in the current “South Park” episode. Among other things, the royal dropouts are referred to as “stupid prince and his stupid wife”. And while fans are celebrating the episode, the Sussexes can’t seem to laugh at the innuendo. “According to sources close to the ex-royals, like so many things with Meghan and Harry, this appears to have legal ramifications,” announces royal expert Neil Sean loudly TheMirror at. “Your legal team is keeping an eye on the episode.”

Meghan and Harry in the crisis: “If ‘South Park’ turns against you, you can’t recover from it”

The “South Park” diss comes at the worst possible time for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. Although Harry landed an absolute bestseller with his biography “Spare” (German Reserve”), his sweeping attack on the British royal family did not necessarily bring him sympathy. “I think there’s this misconception that they [Meghan] popular and that Harry is popular in the US,” Greg told Swenson UK News. The “South Park” parody now marks a sad low point for the Sussexes.

“If ‘South Park’ turns against you, you can’t recover from it,” summarizes US journalist Megyn Kelly (52) in “The Megyn Kelly Show”. In doing so, she sums up what Meghan Markle is probably most worried about – her image in the USA. Even Hollywood seems to be turning its back on the Sussexes, Harry and Meghan were not invited to Oprah Winfrey’s birthday. The only question is whether a legal dispute would not put the “South Park” episode even more in the limelight. Sources used: mirror.co.uk, gbnews.uk
