The sanction imposed by Paris Saint-Germain on Lionel Messi seems to have been left behind, after this morning the technical director of the French team, Christophe Galtier, confirmed him as the starter for tomorrow’s game against Ajaccio (4:00 p.m.), corresponding to the 35th date of Ligue 1.

“Obviously I spoke with Leo about his return. I wanted to know about his state of mind and how he was. I observed him very calm. He is very motivated to play, very determined to win another title. Yes, Leo will play tomorrow,” he declared. DT at a press conference. “I have nothing to say about the sanction,” he added.

The Parisian club and the captain of the Argentine National Team seemed to have entered into a conflict of no return after -according to the European press- the institution imposed a harsh punishment, without pay, which made him unable to train with his teammates and playing matches with the first team, for traveling without authorization to Saudi Arabia to fulfill commercial commitments.

However, the apology from the captain of the National Team and the forceful message from his father, Jorge, regarding his future -his contract expires on June 30- would have calmed the waters and Leo will return this weekend to wear the shirt PSG, at least until the middle of this year.
