It’s only been a few days since the sci-fi horror movie Megan (M3GAN) hit theaters in the US (it’s coming to Swedish theaters later this week) and introduced us to a killer robot doll that seems to scare the crap out of everyone. The film had a pretty impressive domestic opening weekend, though it failed to beat the titan Avatar: The Way of Water. Thanks to the good ratings, viral attention and success, Hollywood is now planning the sequel.
As Deadline reports there are plans for both a sequel and also a “‘gorier’ and an unrated” edition of the current theatrical release. There’s no time frame attached to any of these ideas just yet, and it’s likely we won’t hear much more until the film leaves theaters — but regardless, is more Megan being something you’d be interested in?
