This Thursday, the Santa Rosa Court found Magdalena Espósito Valenti and Abigail Páez guilty for the crime of Lucio Dupuy. The judges decided to declare Lucio’s mother as the “material author and criminally responsible for triple qualified homicide by the link, treachery and cruelty”, acquitting her for her sexual abuse.

Meanwhile, Ramón Dupuy, the boy’s grandfather, acknowledged that he did not agree with the ruling by which the boy’s mother was acquitted of sexual abuse: “It is a bad decision for me. The sex toys had the DNA of both of them, that is, that the evidence was there (for both to be convicted of the abuse).”

In dialogue with C5N, the man acknowledged being excited, however, he made it clear that “there is a ruling that we did not expect and we do not agree, but now we will seek to separate them and make it perpetual.”

And he concluded with a thank you: “Without the support of the people this would not have been possible. Today a story is marked: we are here to mark history and we are going to mark it”.
