Hidalgo County Sheriff’s authorities executed a search warrant at a gambling establishment, known as Mega Slots, located at 5721 Rural Highway 1015 north of the city of Weslaco near Mercedes.
According to an anonymous call, the authorities were warned that they were carrying out illegal activities in the place.
Agents arrived at the scene with a search warrant and seized a large number of slot machines.
In turn, the officers detained several people.
