Apple has released a slew of updates. We already reported on iPadOS 16.3 and iOS 16.3. There are also updates for the Apple Watch and soon for Apple TVs and HomePods. Users of “old” desktop systems are also offered an update, for example macOS 11.7.3 and macOS 12.6.3 are available as security updates. Of course, there is also the new version 13.2 with some new features.

This update introduces enhanced data protection for iCloud, Apple ID security keys, and other Mac improvements and bug fixes.

•Advanced Data Protection for iCloud features more iCloud data categories (23 total) protected with end-to-end encryption, including iCloud backups, notes and photos. Data is thus protected even in the event of a data breach in the cloud.

•Apple ID security keys allow users to increase the security of their accounts by requiring a physical security key to sign in.

•Fixes an issue in Freeform where some strokes drawn with Apple Pencil or your finger may not appear on shared boards.

•Fixes an issue where VoiceOver no longer provides audio feedback while typing.
