Over time, the police managed to get the woman and the minor released. But Medina, a former employee of a cleaning outsourcing company, who according to local portals would have served a heavy sentence for robbery, he preferred not to surrender.

Thus, negotiations continued, without success. At one point, two shots were heard. After a reasonable time of not receiving an answer, the Halcón Group broke into the house and searched for Medina. They found him dead, with a bullet in the head and a gun under his left leg in a room on the first floor of the place. A SAME doctor who confirmed the death established that Medina had died at least three hours before the police entered the home.

The UFI No. 3 of San Martin is in charge of the case file, initially described as abuse of weapons and resistance to authority, something that dissolves with the accused already dead.
