A 52-year-old man is being held in the Vega Baja district for allegedly disturbing the peace of his 87-year-old neighbor, and having taken his niece hostage on Friday night and Saturday morning, in the Brasilia de Vega Baja Urbanization.
According to preliminary information, it is alleged that the arrested man throws pieces of stone at the residence of his 87-year-old neighbor, who fears for her safety.
Several stones broke the glass of a window in the structure.
For his arrest, a police negotiator and SWAT personnel were required, as he allegedly entrenched himself and held his niece hostage.
The same will be consulted in the morning hours, for the possible filing of charges.
