HOUSTON – The incident occurred at approximately 10:43 p.m. Monday near the 9900 block of South Post Oak Road.
According to authorities, the man was struck by at least two cars while walking on the left lane of the freeway. According to the police report, one of the drivers involved in the incident stopped and was the one who alerted the event while the other drivers left the scene with an unknown destination.
Despite the quick response from the emergency services, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The identity of the deceased has not yet been revealed, the reasons that led the man to walk in the middle of a busy highway are unknown.
