Just as happened with the down of the Epic Store servers for free Tomb Raider, the launch of the new, indispensable offer linked to the free download of Death Stranding on PC at Christmas was also accompanied by numerous problems.

The dizzying increase in accesses to the American publisher’s portal has once again sent the servers of Epic’s digital store into a tailspin and caused disruptions to all users who, from 17:00 today, Sunday 25 December, wish to access the store PC for redeem a zero-euro copy of Death Stranding.

At the time of writing (20:00), the situation would be returning to normal, even if many are complaining on social networks and sector forums that they cannot access the digital store or are unable to view the “Get” button which signals the availability of Death Stranding free on the Epic Store.

Among the many who are reporting these disservices, there are also those who complain to Epic about the erroneous indication of availability on their store of the Director’s Cut of Death Stranding, a version including numerous additional content including gameplay improvements, optimizations and story expansions. Access and synchronization to your Epic account has also turned out to be plagued by the problems that have affected the American company’s store, hence the caustic tenor of the comments that are bouncing on the online portals most frequented by the community.
