As the Marvel hero “Hawkeye”, Jeremy Renner would have flattened the snow groomer. But in real life he didn’t stand a chance.

Completely exhausted – but alive – the actor reports (51) on Tuesday for the first time from the hospital with good news: After his heavy snow plow accident is he a little better. Even if he’s still in intensive care.

The Renner family originally wanted to have a relaxed New Year’s celebration at their $3 million mountain ranch north of Lake Tahoe, Nevada. But instead the new year started with drama. The “Avengers” hero almost didn’t survive a snowplow accident.

Small consolation: the actor is warm in the hospital. Because his isolated ranch was buried under meters of snow at the time of the accident! The result: for two days there was no electricity, no running water. The conditions on the mountain were “extreme”.

“There was 1.5 meters of snow, his workers had to hike in,” a source who has known Renner for years tells the British “Daily Mail”. “They have had no power since 4pm on Saturday (December 31).”

Jeremy Renner struggled with these adversities

On the morning of January 1, 2023, the “Avengers” superhero used one of his massive snowplows to clear tons of snow. “He was up here with his family. His nephew was with him. They blocked the mountain because everyone was slipping,” the source continued.

According to media reports, Renner then wanted to free a stuck car belonging to a family member with his heavy device – which also worked.

According to the investigating officials, the Hollywood star then left the huge vehicle and spoke to the relative – when the snow plow suddenly started rolling. Renner tried to climb back into the driver’s seat, wanted to stop the machine – and was run over by it.

A huge shock. At 9 a.m. local time, the Weshoe County Sheriff received the call.

Renner, father of a daughter (Ava, 9) suffered life-threatening injuries to his head, leg and upper body. With a helicopter he was rushed to the hospital as soon as possible and operated at Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno, Nevada, according to neighbors, which is considered the best hospital in the area.

Reno Mayor Hillary Schieve, who is a good friend of the actor, says of Renner, “He was always helping others.”

Why the snow groomer buried Jeremy Renner is now being investigated. Was it a technical error? According to the news portal “TMZ”, the security functions failed! This caused the machine to start moving. According to the officials, sabotage is currently excluded.

Renner’s family thanked “the incredible doctors and nurses who are taking care of him.” Everyone is enormously overwhelmed, but also grateful for the love and support of the fans.
