For some time now we have learned of some rumors that the announcement of Metroid Prime Remastered is imminent. Although the big N has never exposed itself in this regard, it is possible that 2023 will be the right year to officially present the project.
A leaker verified by reddit moderators hinted with a cryptic message that in the next year there will be space again for the series of Metroid Prime. The insider previously leaked the official name of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD on Switch, Splatoon 3 and Wario Ware, before they were officially announced by Nintendo. A Reddit moderator claims he was personally contacted by the lekaer, who simply said: “Do you think everyone is primed and ready?”, evidently referring to news concerning the series. The reddit moderator assures the reliability of the leaker, who has an “unbeaten record” of leaks that later turned out to be correct.
A possible announcement could also be linked to Metroid Prime 4, a title of which we have lost track for a long time now and which has seen important changes of direction in the course of its development. At this point we just have to wait for any updates from Nintendo.
