The annual tax return is an official document through which legal entities or individuals in Mexico present a report of all the transactions they made during the previous year before the Tax Administration Service (SAT); This procedure is used to register a taxpayer’s income, deductions, calculate the annual tax, present zeroes and pay or request the balance in favor.

In this context, the OCCMundial “Labor Thermometer” survey in the week of March 27 to 31 was given the task of asking Mexican workers if they know the process for filing the annual tax return, as well as their benefits and the consequences of not doing so.

In the exercise, 35% of those surveyed assured that they are very familiar with the procedure that must be carried out and are aware of the benefits it brings, as well as the consequences of not doing it.
