The ‘Bild’ brings the central defender from Borussia Mönchengladbach into play at his former club and quotes FCU manager Oliver Ruhnert: “A lot is conceivable and we don’t rule anything out. Of course we have our own ideas regarding the squad planning for the coming season. Apart from that, Marvin Friedrich is also under contract for the season in Mönchengladbach.”

The working paper of the 27-year-old expires in 2026. Friedrich only switched from Berlin to Borussia for 5.5 million euros in January 2022. However, he is only used irregularly there and therefore gave free rein to his frustration in an interview with ‘Sport Bild’.
