Windows 10 will no longer have licenses to buy from this month of January. According to Microsoft’s Italian website, on January 31, the company will end sales of Windows 10 keys.

On the Windows 10 page, Microsoft says that although the last day to buy an operating system license is January 31, 2023, users will still get security updates. The company says it will make security patches available until October 14, 2025 for Windows 10.

Windows 10 will no longer have its licenses sold by Microsoft from January 2023.

If you have a computer with Windows 10 installed, but without a license to run it properly, Microsoft advises you to take advantage of the operating system offer on its website or buy a new PC with Windows 11. If you buy the Windows 10 license , you can upgrade to Windows 11 at no extra cost.

Is it worth migrating from Windows 10 to Windows 11?

Windows 11 completed a year of life at the end of 2022 and has already undergone several updates, which fixed numerous critical bugs.
