The Morbihan prefecture alerts Friday, April 21 to a malfunction of the telephone, landline, mobile and internet network in Quiberon and Belle-Île-en-Mer. Emergency services are unreachable.
According to the prefecture, the malfunction began around 2 a.m. in Belle-Île-en-Mer, reports France Bleu Armorique. The four municipalities of the island, Le Palais, Sauzon, Bangor and Locmaria are concerned and now also the city of Quiberon on the mainland.
In the event of an emergency, to reach the Morbihan firefighters or the emergency services, you must go directly to the Palais or Quiberon rescue center or to the Belle-Ile hospital emergency room where personnel are mobilized on each sites to support residents. The services of theANDtat are working with the operators to restore the situation “as soon as possible”indicates the prefecture.
