In the first days of December, conversations in a Telegram chat were known that would have come to light due to the hack it suffered Marcelo D’Alessandro, Buenos Aires Minister of Security. On that occasion, it was about conversations related to a trip that Horacio Rodríguez Larreta’s official made to Lago Escondido and that led to a complaint for the crimes of breach of the duties of a public official and admission of gifts
This Thursday more chats from D’Alessandro’s cell phone were leaked, although this time it is not a group, but rather conversations with different people, including with Silvio Robles, spokesman for the president of the Court, Horacio Rosatti; with Silvia Majdalani, former number two of the AFI, and with Marcelo Violante, owner of Dakota, a haulage company contracted by the City of Buenos Aires.
as he learned infobaethe new leaks could lead to D’Alessandro to present his resignation to Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, who until now had supported and sustained him, despite the questions.
Regarding the content of the new chats, in which D’Alessandro maintains with Robles, dated last November, Rosatti’s spokesman gives him arguments for the conflict that Juntos por el Cambio maintains with the Frente de Todos over the integration of the Judicial Council.
“In 5 I’ll give you lyrics so you can move it”, Robles tells her, to immediately send the Buenos Aires city official a long text, with a list of arguments why Cristina Kirchner could not appoint Martín Doñate as representative of the ruling party. Doñate, from Unidad Ciudadana, maintains a dispute with Luis Juez, a PRO senator from Cordoba, who claims for himself the bench in the Judicial Council.
In addition, Robles suggests to D’Alessandro that Together for Change should continue with the discussion in Justice to obtain the place that he is disputing with the FdT in the Magistracy. For now, this judicial dispute has not prospered, since this week an injunction presented by a judge against the division of the official bloc was rejected, a maneuver that Kirchnerism used to win the bench.
In this regard, the spokesman for the president of the Court explains to Larreta’s man what they should do to be successful: “Contentious or they can go to Court considering that the sentence must be carried out. But it all depends on who (it can be a Judge or someone who is considered a party). They have two options: either they sue where the file is (which is in Court or Litigation) or a new lawsuit in the Litigation”.
In addition, Rosatti’s spokesperson and D’Alessandro refer to the “Robles ruling”. This is how the interlocutors would have baptized the ruling of the Court that would be known later -on December 21- and that would end up tipping the balance in favor of the city of Buenos Aires in the dispute with the Casa Rosada for the co-participation.
As for the dialogues between D’Alessandro and Violante, the businessman who manages Dakota, the concessionaire of the cranes and the parking lots of Buenos Airesthese are exchanges produced in 2019 and 2020.
Among other things, Violante asks the Buenos Aires minister if he “gives to propose business to Horacio”, in supposed reference to Rodríguez Larreta. Faced with the question D’Alessandro answers in the affirmative.. In another chat, the Dakota businessman talks about “gather green” and alleged envelopes with money.
On the other hand, there are also exchanges of messages between D’Alessandro and Majdalani, former deputy director of the Federal Intelligence Agency, coordinating different actions. Among other things, Majdalani, which she calls “pendex” to the Buenos Aires minister, he suggests “Do not put the little body when the bullets pass.”
The spread of D’Alessandro’s chats caused strong criticism of the ruling party. The Minister of Justice and Human Rights, martin soriawrote a message of repudiation on their social networks.
“The chats between D’Alessandro -Minister of Security of Larreta- and Silvio Robles -right hand of the “supreme” Rosatti-, confirm what we always denounce: this Supreme Court stopped doing Justice to do political favors to JxC through its failures,” Soria wrote.
And he added: “They force the provinces to finance Larreta’s campaign, they guarantee the persecution of Peronism, they paralyzed the Council of the Magistracy to shield judges placed by hand and they concocted with JxC the blockade of the National Congress. Macri’s CSJN is not compatible with Democracy”.
The official legislators also launched harsh questions. In a statement titled “Institutional chaos has a first and last name: Horacio Rosatti”the interblock of senators from the Frente de Todos spoke of “pernicious links” and “settling of failures between Silvio Robles, spokesman and general director of Horacio Rosatti’s committee” and D’Alessandro.
“We are facing absolute evidence that this institutional chaos to which the institutions of our country have been subjected in recent times has a name and surname: Horacio Rosatti,” the pro-government senators considered.
Along these lines, they warned that “in the same talk (between D’Alessandro and Robles) not only is the bond of absolute trust and familiarity evident, but also names the ruling that would come out a few days later as “the ruling Robles” in favor of the head of the city of Buenos Aires, Horacio Rodriguez Larreta.
For their part, the deputies of the Frente de Todos also expressed themselves in a statement of a similar tone, entitled “D’Alessandro is Larreta, Robles is Rosatti”. There they stated that “The new chats reveal a mafia and criminal network”while qualifying as “scandalous” the content of the messages.
Finally, the Frente de Todos Bloc in the Buenos Aires Legislature maintained that Rodríguez Larreta should remove D’Alessandro from his post. “Beyond the corresponding judicial actions for the crimes that arise from the chats that have become public, it is absolutely impossible for him to continue in his position, nothing more and nothing less than at the head of the Justice and Security of our City , who has lost all authority in front of the citizenry”, they assured.
