Behind bars is this mother who is facing serious charges for taking her newborn daughter from the intensive care unit and stabbing hospital employees who tried to stop her from taking the baby.
Kendra Greene, 31, appeared before a bail judge today. According to the authorities, last Thursday at 10:30 p.m. the woman entered the Palms West hospital, went to the pediatric intensive care unit, and took her 3-day-old daughter, who was connected to a ventilator. . Hospital staff tried to stop the woman from taking her daughter, but she stabbed them as she was leaving. Three people at the hospital were killed with non-life-threatening injuries.
According to the authorities, the woman took her newborn daughter to a relative’s house and fled before the police arrived. Labebé was returned to the hospital by firefighters in stable condition. Police soon located the woman hiding swimming in a canal in Loxahatchee, she was arrested and she was taken to the county jail. Apart from the bail imposed on her, the judge prohibited her from having contact with witnesses and with the baby.
Authorities think the woman may have mental health problems.

The judge set him on $302,000 bail for the 5 charges he faces which are aggravated child abuse and aggravated assault using a deadly weapon.
