Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri is a 2017 American crime drama film about Mildred Hayes (played by Frances McDormand), a woman who rents three billboards to draw attention to her daughter’s unsolved rape and murder.
The action takes place in the small town of Ebbing in Missouri where Mildred Hayes accuses the police of not doing enough to find the killer. A both funny and moving story with wonderful performances by Frances McDormand, Woody Harrelson and Sam Rockwell, among others.

The Banshees of Inisherin
The Banshees of Inisherin is a 2022 tragicomic film set on a fictional island off the west coast of Ireland, about two lifelong friends who reach a dead end when one suddenly ends their relationship, with consequences for both.
Colm (Brendan Gleeson) suddenly decides one day that he no longer wants to be friends with Pádraic (Colin Farrell). Pádraic asks Colm to tell him what he did wrong, and Colm calmly replies that Pádraic did nothing wrong. The film is both funny and sad.

The film takes place in London in 1953 when Agatha Christie’s play The Mousetrap celebrates its 100th performance. An American director who wants to make a film version of the play is murdered backstage. And who doesn’t love Sam Rockwell in…everything?

Horror comedy where we get to follow the couple Margot (Anya Taylor-Joy) and Tyler (Nicholas Hoult) who go to the exclusive Hawthorn restaurant. The restaurant is located on a private island and is run by star chef Julian Slowik (Ralph Fiennes). Together with other guests, they are treated to an incomparable menu. But with each dish that is brought in, the mood gets darker and darker. Why is everyone there anyway?

Home alone
One of the most classic Christmas movies of modern times. Story in brief: Bad parents keep forgetting Kevin (Macaulay Culkin) in different places in the US when they go out on a trip. Face/Off
Action film from the happy 90s when there were no boundaries in the action genre. John Travolta plays FBI agent Sean Archer, who in order to get to the supervillain Castor Troy (Nicolas Cage), who murdered his son, must assume his identity. And the screenwriters didn’t skimp on the mushrooms when they wrote how it happened: the FBI agent and the villain switch faces with each other. Literally. It’s all very confusing, but also entertaining.

A delightfully unique film about a boy in the Hitler Jugend during the Second World War. The boy has an imaginary friend who is not just any friend. The friend is Adolf Hitler himself. The hit musical Hamilton is now available to stream on Disney Plus for those of us who couldn’t get past New York when it was staged on Broadway. Here we see Lin-Manuel Miranda donning the character of one of the founding fathers of the United States, Alexander Hamilton. A musical out of the ordinary that manages to include a blissful mix of musical genres, all of which feel new to the musical scene.
