At least six people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash in an area of Granada Hills.
The incident occurred in the 13200 block of North Sepulveda Boulevard around noon. One of the people was trapped in one of the vehicles and the Los Angeles Fire Department had to use special tools to get him out of the car.
Authorities reported that he is in critical condition.
The other injured were taken to hospitals and at least two were in serious condition, according to authorities.
