One more time My Hero Academia surprises its followers, and it is that now the anime is working on the final arc of the sixth season, and the story began with force this week.

As it turns out, Shindo didn’t go with the fandom’s favorite name, Quake, but rather, he’s known as Grand. Obviously, that name might seem completely random to some, but Grand comes from a pun in Japan, i.e. from Shindo it’s ‘gura gura’, so the hero just turned that text into his hero name. In Japanese, the name is pronounced similar to ‘gurando’so English users ended up with the name great.

Of course, this is just one of several hero names My Hero Academia has given us lately, as the sixth season went all-out a few episodes ago when it revealed Bakugo’s chosen nickname. Dynamight perfectly suits the explosive hero, and now, Shindo has joined My Hero Academia’s growing roster of heroes-in-training with official names, raising the excitement among his fans.
