Indeed, the former parliamentarian Naima Salhi was sentenced today, Monday, May 8, 2023 on appeal by the Court of Tipaza to a 6-month prison sentence for undermining “territorial integrity, publication undermining national interest and defamation. So the prosecution requested the hardening of the sentence pronounced at first instance.

It should be recalled that the President of the Equity and Proclamation Party had already been sentenced last November by the Chéraga court to six months in prison in the same case.
