For her second feature film, the daughter of Miou-Miou and Julien Clerc plunges spectators into the heart of adoption, from childbirth under X to the foster family through the work of social assistance at the ‘childhood. We follow Alice, a forty-year-old who has been looking for ten years to adopt a child. During an interview with Irène, from adoption services, she learns that her efforts are about to succeed. Several characters revolve in parallel: Jean, family assistant, who is increasingly tired by the very difficult situations he is faced with and wishes to take some time for himself. Clara, after her birth under X, shows no desire to come into contact with her baby. Mathilde, a social worker, gets in touch with her.
