We know how important New Year’s Eve preparations are. In fact, those who are not going to leave on an interesting and adventurous journey are already preparing to decorate their home in the best possible way. Here’s how simple make-up remover pads can be more than useful for the New Year’s party
It may seem incredible, but simple make-up remover pads can make the difference on New Year’s Eve. Indeed, with these we could make beautiful roses which we will need to beautify our apartment in no time at all. Obviously, in order not to waste, let’s take some diskettes that we were about to throw away. We can also use those that are a little dirty or damaged, which we could not use for our face.
The steps necessary to create beautiful little roses
First, let’s get ourselves all the necessary tools to create our little roses. Let’s take 13 make-up remover pads, a couple of scissors with a rounded tip, a hot glue gun and a plastic stick. Also, let’s take gods colors acrylics (red and green will do just fine), a glass of water and a brush. Let’s color 7 disks red and 6 green. Now, let’s take 7 of the 13 disks to make the petals of our rose. We put hot glue on half of a disk and fold it on itself, gluing it and obtaining a crescent. We do the same thing on all 7 floppies. Also, be careful not to burn yourself with the hot glue.
Now, we take the other 6 discs for the leaves and do the same operation. This time, however, after having folded the disk in half and having glued the half, let’s fold it back on itself again, so as to obtain a smaller crescent.

Now, let’s pick up the 7 petal disks and, on each one, put glue on the right corner, sticking the next one on top. On the last one, we always put a little glue on the outer corner and roll it inwards, continuing to put glue on each one each time we roll. What we will end up with will be a small rose. We then take 3 of the disks for the leaves and glue them together on the ends, creating a sort of W. We do the same thing with the other 3 disks and glue our two leaves just created to the sides of the rose, again with the glue hot. So, now we know that we should never, ever throw away make-up remover pads because they could become a magnificent decoration for our home for New Year’s Eve.
