In any case, Serge Gnabry (27) is in this dilemma. Of course, the dynamic right-footer had a few weaker appearances, but he’s not really a good scapegoat for a season that Bayern sees as unsuccessful.
Nevertheless, according to reports, he is one of the first sales candidates for the summer. The background: Gnabry is in the prime of footballer age, has a contract that runs until 2026 and could bring in a larger transfer fee. In addition, the world class in the Munich squad cavorts in his position, even if there is also a question mark behind Sadio Mané’s (31) future.
Gnabry resists
Much to the chagrin of Bayern, it is becoming increasingly clear that Gnabry is not interested in changing clubs. The offensive all-rounder appreciates working with Thomas Tuchel and feels at home in the club and city, the ‘kicker’ points to good reasons for Gnabry’s wish.
