Although the Felipe Angeles International Airport (AIFA) has had a slow startin December will be self-sufficient, the president advanced Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador.

A few days before this airport complex celebrates its first anniversary, the federal president pointed out that at the end of this year it will reach a “balance point”, so it will no longer be necessary to allocate public resources.

“They were giving me a preview of an economic analysis, which is estimated for December of this year that the airport will be self-sufficient, it will already have its break-even point, it will begin to obtain profits, we will no longer have to allocate public budget in December”, he said.

In the morning this Thursday, he explained that the start of the AIFA has been slow due to the dozen amparos that were filed against its construction.

-Hasn’t AIFA’s takeoff been slow?, he was questioned.

“Yes, yes, because there have been many obstacles, well, since the construction, shelters rained down, those who come on Sunday to protest, those on Sunday, from Claudio X.
