The wait for the big snow continues

Winter doesn’t really get going in Vorarlberg. After the spring-like turn of the year, it remains far too mild for the time of year.

Except for a few local drops, it will remain dry on Wednesday in Vorarlberg until the evening. It’s still too mild for the time of year – with highs of up to 10 degrees.

During the night it gets cloudy and it begins to rain lightly. Temperatures range between 1 and 6 degrees at night.

Rainy Thursday

The sky is mostly cloudy on Thursday and rain falls at times, from the Bregenzerwald in the direction of the Arlberg it rains moderately at times with snow from around 1800 meters. With strong west to north-west winds, which will also be clearly felt in the higher areas from the Pfänder area to the Vorderwald, it will remain milder than average.

Föhn weekend

From today’s perspective, the sunny weather, which is too mild for the time of year, will also be maintained at the weekend, foggy patches are possible in the Lake Constance area. In the southern highlands, the foehn will gradually appear on Saturday.

With a foehn it will remain dry until Sunday evening, but the sky will increasingly be covered with clouds. It remains mild.
