THE Nubank launched this Monday (23) a new functionality that allows the user to view the balance of all bank accounts linked to the open finance in the Nu app. Still in beta version, the manager will initially be available for 300,000 NuCommunity customers, but should roll out gradually to the entire fintech user base. This is expected to happen by the end of March.
Nubank app gains visualization of the balance of other banks
The news arrives shortly after the integration of Nubank to Open Finance, carried out by fintech in September 2022, even before it was mandatory for the company. With the new functionality, Nubank’s main objective is to democratize access to efficient financial products that, above all, give customers back control of their financial life.
It is important to remember that, to have access to the Open Finance functionalities, the user must authorize the sharing of data of the institutions chosen with Nubank. You can also determine how long your information will be shared, as well as unsubscribe at any time.
Since Nubank joined Open Finance, more than 3 million have agreed to share their data with the financial institution. In November, the company also launched a solution integrated with Open Finance that notifies customers when one of their bank accounts is overdrafted, allowing the balance of other accounts to be used to replenish the amount and reduce interest charges.
