HBO series have not been found on the OCS platform in France since January 1, 2023. Game of Thrones, Chernobyl, Sex and the City, True Detective, True Blood, Watchmen… All these excellent series are unfortunately no longer accessible. About fifteen are still present, but partially.
It’s the carnage for OCS: many HBO series left the catalog of the French platform on December 31, 2022 at midnight. The departure was predictable, because the broadcasting contracts that OCS had made with the American private channel ended in 2022. We did not yet know, however, which programs were precisely going to be affected.
This is now the case: just go to the OCS platform to see that more than 60 series have been withdrawn overnight. Most of them have not yet found a new broadcaster: it will be the big battle between SVOD services to acquire the broadcasting rights in France.

This is the great mystery of this beginning of the year 2023: the series The Last of Us from HBO is supposed to be released on January 15, 2023 in the United States, and could be broadcast from the next day in France… but no one knows where. Amazon? Paramount+? No platform has yet officially positioned itself on the release of the series The Last of Us. We will therefore have to wait a little longer to find out if the production will be visible in France legally from January 16.
