And Fox News, it must also be said, allowed it all to happen. Just a few days ago, the lies Carlson was spreading about this war were uncovered again. These include Putin’s claim that the US operates and funds bio-weapons laboratories in Ukraine.

With such claims, Carlson fuels the lie that Russia is right to wage its murderous war against millions of innocent civilians. From the outset, the aim of such propaganda from the Russian side was to weaken Western societies’ support for Ukraine. Putin and his Russian henchmen thanked Tucker Carlson by regularly quoting him on their own programs.
The American without a conscience still agitates against minorities to this day and presents himself as a fighter for the truth and the protection of freedom of the press, which is a particularly valuable asset in the USA. Tucker Carlson didn’t just push them to the limits of the bearable. He has also overstepped the bounds of legality, for example by spreading allegations of voting machine fraud.
However, American society cannot breathe a sigh of relief. Tucker Carlson is now leaving Fox News. However, his probable future projects are unlikely to encounter any barriers in the land of unlimited opportunity. Numerous other broadcasters that spread hate speech and lies far worse than Fox News would hire the master of disinformation at any time.
Tucker Carlson will probably remain active in the future as Donald Trump’s chief agitator and at the same time Vladimir Putin’s propaganda arm. He will certainly play an important and despicable role in the coming presidential campaign.
