One man died and another was injured this Sunday night in a shootout in the southern part of the city. The violent episode occurred after 8:00 p.m. in Chacabuco at 3500, when as yet unidentified assailants opened fire in front of the facade of a house in the Tablada neighborhood.

According to the first information, the fatal victim was identified as Daniel P., 65 years old and Uruguayan nationality. The man was referred to the Provincial Hospital located in Alem at 1400, however, he arrived at the health center lifeless. Medical personnel found a hole from the impact of a firearm in the area of ​​the clavicle.
