OPEC's oil supply falls 3% in July due to the cut in Saudi pumping

Vienna, Aug 10 (EFECOM).- Crude production of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) fell 3% in July, totaling 27,310 million barrels per day (mbd), 836,000 bd less than in June, according to the estimates released Thursday by the Vienna-based oil organization.

The figures from the OPEC monthly report reveal that the marked fall was due to the sharp cut that Saudi Arabia applied to its production and that it is one of the main factors that has driven the rise in the price of “black gold” in July and continues to do so this month. .
