There was a lot going on at the instrument presentation at the open house on May 5th of the Bürgermusik Lauterach. Many sounds could be heard and attractions observed from different corners.

On May 3rd, some young musicians and their music teachers visited the elementary schools in Lauterach and presented the most diverse sounds of the instrument animals from Martin Schelling’s circus story. The already mentioned open day offered enough time to take a closer look at all the instrument animals and to try them out.

Many children and their entire families followed this invitation to the Bürgermusik rehearsal room. With a stamp pass, they went from one room to the other, so that every circus performer could be tried out as an instrument and the visitors could find out more about it. The youth band gave an insight into their adventures at a public rehearsal. A few children were soon persuaded to learn a wind instrument, and if you’re still thinking about it, don’t hesitate to contact us (e-mail: [email protected]) or come to one of our rehearsals, which is always the case on Friday between 6:15 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. in the rehearsal room (Herrengutgasse 13 – back of the middle school).
