The Ninth Preparatory Investigation Court of the Superior Court of Justice of Lima has ordered the National Police of Peru and Interpol to search for and detain Pamela Cabanillas Sánchez at a national and international level.
Cabanillas, who sold fake concert tickets for artists like Daddy Yankee and Coldplay, has been charged with committing aggravated fraud.
It should be remembered that the Third Provincial Office of the Specialized Cybercrime Prosecutor of Central Lima announced that the Judiciary ordered 18 months of preventive detention for Cabanillas, who calls herself ‘Mommy Yankee’, and who is considered the leader of the criminal organization known as ‘The QR of the scam’.
During the period from March to October 2022, Pamela Cabanillas would have obtained more than S/ 85,000 through the sale of counterfeit tickets for soccer games, and concerts by artists such as Karol G and Bad Bunny.
It has been reported that Cabanillas is currently in Europe, specifically between Spain and Italy, although no updated information is available on his whereabouts.
