Two criminals dedicated to “entrance” robbery in La Plata fell yesterday after a raid followed by a dramatic chase in which there were shots. They seized a mid-range car, weapons and cocaine, official sources reported.
The procedure was initially directed against a criminal with an arrest warrant for multiple home robberies in La Plata. After inquiries in the framework of a judicial investigation, it was detected that the subject was a fugitive at an address of 123 between 81 and 82.
A police car went there. However, they found that the man resisted. In addition, he was with a partner, with whom he decided to flee the place aboard a Nissan Kicks truck.
The attitude of the suspects led to a pursuit. According to reports, they left the farm at full speed and to repel their pursuers they fired at least four shots from their weapons. That is why other mobile phones from the La Plata and Berisso Patrol Command joined the operation.
What the criminals did not expect was that a tire would be punctured while fleeing. That happened and there the attempts to get rid of the agents ended. On that road, they also discarded some items, including an iPhone cell phone that could ultimately be found and seized.
Expert reports were carried out around the events by the Scientific Police. In turn, the UFI Nº7 of La Plata, which instructs in cases related to drug and narcotic crimes, issued an arrest warrant for those involved.
In detail, they seized the vehicle in which they tried to flee, a rifle with a charger, 275 grams of cocaine, 400 dollars, 400,000 pesos, a wig and two cell phones. Now they are facing a case for “violation of law 23,737, violation of article 289, third paragraph of the Penal Code and illegal possession of a firearm.” In addition, the man for whom the procedure was initiated, carries a cover for “double aggravated robbery and illicit association.”
The investigators presume that it would be the leader of the gang that attacked the French Bank located at 7 between 32 and 33 in March 2020. There, they reduced the clients and police custody, to seize a sum of more than one million pesos before to run away.

On that occasion, a commando group ran into the bank branch and, according to police sources, surprised a customer who was making a deposit. They escaped in the car in which the criminals who were waiting for them on the sidewalk arrived.
The sequence of the escape was captured by the security cameras of the Municipality and in the images you can see how the criminals escape and get into the car at the moment when two patrol cars arrive, which starts at full speed on Avenida 7 and turns at 35, followed by one of the police vehicles.
