According to what was reported by police sources, agents of the Radioelectric Command Division of the XI Regional Unit, carried out preventive vehicle checks, when they sighted a Chevrolet Vectra, which abruptly and dangerously evaded the police station, fleeing towards the national highway. 14.

Quickly, the patrols began a chase, when at one point the two occupants of the Vectra threw little nails, damaging the covers of several private vehicles, without affecting the force’s mobile phones.

According to the spokespersons, the controlled monitoring continued until Provincial Route 8 in the vicinity of the Campo Grande cemetery, when the vehicle lost control and ended up near a square, on the boulevard, where the occupants fled with the participation of a second vehicle that helped them in their escape, which is wanted at this time.

The agents searched the car and found that there were six packages containing a brownish substance, presumably marijuana. For this reason, the members of the Dangerous Drugs Division carried out the narcotest, yielding positive for cannabis sativa with a weight of 135,700 kilograms.

By order of the Federal Court, the drug was seized and deposited at the police station, as well as the abandoned vehicle.

In addition, different units carry out investigations to detect the origin of the marijuana, and there is an extensive operation to capture fugitives.
