BFMTV INFO – The actor’s two passengers have been placed under the status of assisted witnesses. One of them claims that the other passenger offered to drive before the serious road accident occurred.
One of Pierre Palmade’s passengers claims in police custody that the other passenger offered to drive, but was confronted with the refusal of the 54-year-old actor, the day of the road accident which left four seriously injured, according to information from BFMTV. The investigation will have to determine the precise sequence of events.
The 33-year-old man, heard in police custody, also assured that the actor had consumed synthetic drugs about 30 minutes before taking the wheel on February 10. He claimed to have also consumed narcotics that day.
The actor tested positive for cocaine during the car accident in which a pregnant woman notably lost her baby. No traces of alcohol were found in his blood.

According to information from BFMTV, the work of exploiting images from surveillance cameras made it possible to reconstruct the escape of the two passengers. The images show in particular that the two men returned to the actor’s home after the accident.
The identification of the two men could then be made thanks to the demarcation of their smartphones. One of them then took refuge with his brother, learned BFMTV. Both are accused of not assisting anyone in danger.
Placed under the status of assisted witnesses
The other passenger, aged 34, said while in police custody that he had few memories of the accident, but had spent the day consuming narcotics with Pierre Palmade and the other passenger, before all three took the road.
The two passengers were not indicted, but placed on Friday under the status of assisted witnesses. The two men fled the scene of the tragedy after the shock. One of them finally surrendered and the other was arrested several days later in Clichy-la-Garenne, in the Hauts-de-Seine.
One of the passengers, described as “a very good friend of Pierre Palmade” by his lawyer, said he was sleeping at the time of the accident. The pair, along with two other people, have partied with the actor at his home since the day before the crash.
