The good weather reigned on the Buenos Aires coast during the first fortnight of the year, only during the last days the clouds covered the sky of Pinamar but this was not an obstacle for the enjoyment of tourists who were able to make the most of the gray days.
The beach fans were not intimidated by the high probability of rain and with the team of mate in hand, ball and shuffleboard they entered the coast to spend the afternoon, even the bravest went into the sea.
But for those who preferred to take shelter from possible storms, the towns that make up the Pinamar district have a varied cultural, gastronomic and commercial offer.
One of the favorite plans is usually to take shelter in a bar and face the bad weather with a delicious snack. For those who like that, during the last season a specialty coffee circuit was installed in the district, made up of four coffee shops that, in addition to traditional options, offer all kinds of coffee-based drinks.
The artisan fairs
If there is a manual for a correct development of vacations on the Atlantic coast, without a doubt a chapter of it would cover everything related to souvenirs from the place. There the artisan fairs become more relevant and become the protagonists when it comes to shopping.
Small and medium-sized artisans and local producers meet at “Hecho en Pinamar”, a fair where vacationers can purchase everything from clothing and accessories to handbags and decorative objects.
Valeria del Mar and Cariló are not far behind the main city and also have their own open-air shopping malls.
In Cariló this summer, “Sabe la Tierra” was installed, a fair of organic products, where you can also find all kinds of designer products and garments made using non-polluting methods.

The Pinamar Sculpture Park is another of the favorite cultural tours for tourists where there is a collection of more than 70 figures made by renowned artists such as Marta Minujín, Carlos Alonso and Pájaro Gómez, among others.
No matter the weather, there are no excuses to enjoy the holidays, even on gray days. Activities abound and the beach is always an option to rest until the sun rises.
