In the latest wave of titles added to the catalog available to subscribers to Playstation Plus Premium we also find an old glory for PS1 whose Platinum trophy can be unlocked without particular difficulties.

We’re referring to Siphon Filter 3, which is available at no extra cost to all subscribers to the more expensive tier of Sony’s subscription service. The PS4 and PS5 version of the game has indeed been updated with trophy support and it doesn’t take much to unlock them all. Almost all of the game objectives consist of completion of the levels that are part of the single player campaign and only one trophy is unrelated to the story: it is the achievement that asks the player to eliminate any opponent with a knife and which can be completed in any mission.

What makes Siphon Filter 3 Platinum very simple is the possibility of exploiting the emulator-style features that are present in all the old games that are part of the PlayStation Plus Premium catalog. Just press the Options key to go back in time and remedy errors of any kind. Thanks to this trick, we can repeat short sections in which we have suffered too much damage or return to a few moments before a death, so as to avoid it.

Know that the game does not allow you to select the difficulty and in some moments it could be difficult due to the commands: in Siphon Filter 3 the second analog stick cannot be used and everything is done with the simple use of the left stick, which is used both to move and to aim precision. So try to always position yourself in a sheltered place and lean out while you are aiming to hit enemies: every time the viewfinder is placed at the opponent’s head, a wording will appear indicating the possibility of performing a headshot.

We remind you that this is not the only title with simple objectives and just a few weeks ago we told you about the very easy Pinball Heroes Platinum trophy.
