The next Community Day is coming up, a monthly event in Pokémon GO that focuses on a specific Pokémon, with improved wild spawns, increased chances for shiny versions, exclusive moves when it evolves, and bonuses like extended incense duration.
The Community days now they last three hours and always take place on the weekend, so most players can participate. These, which are some of the most popular events on the Pokémon GO calendar along with Spotlight Hours.
So here’s everything you need to know about the ultimate Community Day event in February 2023, starring Noibat and its evolution, noivern.
Date and time of February Community Day in Pokémon GO
Niantic has confirmed that the next Pokémon Go Community Day will take place on Sunday, February 5, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the local time of each trainer, and in the official cartel we can see Noibat, also known like Sound Wave Pokémon.
Noibat’s evolution, Noivern, is not only a solid choice for Grand League, but if you’re lucky, you might also run into a Shiny!
Community Day Noibat exclusive move
Players who develop a Noibat during the event hours (or up to five hours after) will get a Noivern that knows the normal-type charged attack: Boomburst.
Pokémon GO Noibat Community Day Bonuses
The following bonuses will be in effect during the February Community Day event hours:
- 2x Candy and 3x Stardust when catching Pokemon.
- 2x Chance to receive XL Candy for trainers level 31 and up.
- Bait Modules and Incense activated during the event will last for three hours.
- Noibat appears in 4-star raids after Community Day ends.
While Noibat Community Day ends at 5:00pm, Trainers will be able to enjoy 4-star Raid Battles with Noibat until 10:00pm. Once defeated, the wild Noibat will spawn near the Gym for the next 30 minutes.
Please note that these additional 4-star raids cannot be accessed with Remote Raid Passes.
So if you’re going to participate in a Community Day, there are a few things you can do to prepare and make the most of the event:
- Buy an incense to use that day, as they will last longer than usual.
- Save any lure modules you have as they will last for three hours during the event.
- Stock up on lots of Ultra Balls so you can catch a lot of the main Pokemon.
- Transfer any unwanted Pokemon so you have room for all the catches you’ll make.
- Check out the bonuses that run during the event so you can take advantage of them.
There will also be a ticket for the February Community Day Special Research story, Abundant Noise, available for purchase in the in-game store closer to the event date.
