Bethesda has just announced the great return of QuakeCon, this event dedicated specifically to the Quake franchise, but which has also made us accustomed to the presence of other games.

QuakeCon 2023 is back in physics

After a complicated period linked to the COVID 19 epidemic, Bethesda wanted to return to the roots of QuakeCon with a physical event. After three years of digital-only events, QuakeCon 2023 will take place at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas.

QuakeCon is our favorite event of the year, and we look forward to seeing our amazing QuakeCon community in person, celebrating the games, and playing all weekend long with thousands of friends.

For its first year back, QuakeCon 2023 focuses on the fan-favorite Bring Your Own Computer (BYOC) and gamers who have made QuakeCon the best gathering of games in over 25 years.

QuakeCon 2023 will take place from Thursday August 10th to Sunday August 13th.

This year, Bethesda is announcing a reimagined and improved BYOC (Bring-Your-Own-Computer) LAN party for four days of 24-hour play, a “plenty of fun activities” and meet-and-greets. A full schedule will be streamed live on Twitch from the BYOC floor for those unable to make the trip to QuakeCon.

It should be noted that the physical event will be paid and reserved for pre-registered BYOC players, there will be no exhibition hall.

If you grab a ticket, you’ll get Tabletop Village, BYOC community events, and the QuakeCon Finals Party. QuakeCon will also host the annual Quake World Championships Finals, featuring the Quake Champions, as well as several vendors and experiences to support BYOC. The full program, features, activities and presentation of the show will be revealed soon.
