Although it has not been officially confirmed, it is rumored that Nintendo could take classic games from the series Pokemon at your service Nintendo Switch Online.

Nintendo has just added Game Boy, Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance games to its Nintendo Switch Online and Expansion Pack subscription services, giving gamers the chance to relive some of the classics from the popular handheld consoles.

For starters, Nintendo has added a small number of Game Boy and GBA games to Switch Online and its Expansion Pack, but more are on the way. However, of all the Game Boy and GBA games coming to Switch Online in the future, fans will have noticed that none of the classic Pokémon games were part of the catalog.

However, that doesn’t mean that Pokémon Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold, Silver, Crystal, Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald may not be coming to the service at some point.

In fact, there are indications that the classic Pokémon games could be coming to the service at some point. Well, it has been pointed out that Nintendo has updated the videos of Pokémon Stadium 1 and 2 to remove the warning that users could not transfer Pokémon, games that will come to the Switch Online Expansion Pack.

This has led some to believe that the original Pokémon games will arrive on the service at some point, and that when they do, they will retain their compatibility with Pokémon Stadium and Pokémon Stadium 2.
