Tired of being beaten by the most infamous and bad monsters of the Elden Ring Interregnum, a fan of FromSoftware’s blockbuster open world has decided to challenge none other than Hidetaka Miyazaki to a duel, or rather, his representation in a maxi hardcover.
The author of this absurd project is MeanForce1, a redditor passionate about soulslike who is rapidly making the rounds of social media with images that portray him as he fights against the blow-up of the father of Dark Souls holding a sword.
At over six meters tall, Miyazaki’s enormous cardboard box barely fits into the redditor’s living room, forcing him to slightly lean the XXL silhouette backwards to avoid damage to the ceiling (or even just to lean it against the wall) . Judging by what is shown in the two images that you find at the bottom of the news, Miyazaki’s maxi hardcover would seem to be composed of a single, enormous sheet (presumably for posters) glued onto a rigid cardboard template that perfectly follows the features of the president of FromSoftware.
There is also the touch of class represented by the photomontage of the Elden Ring interface, complete with a HUD and health bar of the unlikely boss “Big Miyazaki”.
