After an accident involving four cars, the Duisburg-Wanheimerort access to the A 59 has been reopened. Four people were injured in the accident.
A serious traffic accident involving several vehicles occurred in Duisburg on Sunday afternoon. The police confirmed this when asked by the editors.
It is still unclear how the accident on Wacholderstraße in Wanheimerort happened. The access to the A 59 at the Duisburg-Wanheimerort junction was temporarily blocked.
After the clean-up work, only the Wacholderstraße between Zum Lith and the driveways was closed on Sunday evening, so that drivers had to drive onto the motorway from the other side.

Four people were slightly injured in the accident involving four cars. The traffic light mast was damaged in the accident, so the traffic light is out of order. The fire brigade assisted the police in the investigation of the accident.
