Chinese President and General Secretary of the Communist Party of China Central Committee Xi Jinping on Thursday visited the city of Cangzhou, north China’s Hebei Province, inspecting crop production in drought-hit fields and a coal port.
During his stay, President Xi visited a wheat field, where he learned about growing drought- and alkali-tolerant crops. During the tour of the coal port, he asked about its operational and development plans.
