The first delivery of vehicles from the Chinese brand JAC should arrive next May. The “Emin Auto” dealer, representative of the JAC brand in Algeria, had received final approval for the import of vehicles of this brand.
It was the general manager of Emin Auto, Nihat Sahsuvaroglu, who revealed the date of the arrival of the first vehicles. The acquisition of 20,000 vehicles is planned for 2023. 15,000 commercial vehicles and 5,000 tourist vehicles. He said that the ambition to establish the JAC brand in Algeria is present.
As for prices, only the agents concerned are authorized to determine them according to the cost of the car and the investments made, because each agent tries to attract customers according to 3 factors: the price of the vehicle, the availability spare parts and after-sales service, which are the points on which the dealers will base themselves in a context of strong competition.
Therefore, prices will be set by agents according to the pace of sales and purchasing power, thus taking into account the costs of acquiring cars from their manufacturing sources.

The director had also indicated a few weeks ago that there are 12 accredited agents within a network which should extend over 38 wilayas of the country. Emin Auto will provide 5 models of tourist cars. Among these models: the Jac G7 Luxury, the GS4 SUV and the GS2 Luxury.
The cars will have 1.5 and 1.6 gasoline engines with power between 110 and 180 horsepower and an automatic gearbox. 33 vehicle models are part of the offer.
Import: the Fiat Tipo arrives in Algeria
In addition, this Sunday, April 9, 2023 during the evening, a second batch of cars from the Italian brand Fiat arrived at the port of Mostaganem, from Italy.
Indeed, the port of Mostaganem received 413 Fiat Tipo cars, and this is the second batch from Italy.

The director of investment and trade of the port of Mostaganem, Rachid Haouicha, explained that this is the second batch, consisting of 413 Fiat Tipo cars, which had been preceded a few weeks ago by a first batch of 123 Fiat 500 type cars. Rachid Haouicha added that the port is awaiting the arrival of other batches of Italian Fiat cars.
It should be noted that the Fiat Tipo will be marketed in Algeria from 2,995,000 Da TTC.
