The year 2023 is already knocking at the door, and it’s time to discover the launches of Prime Video for January. Amazon’s streaming has invested in classics like The fantastic chocolate factory, 2005, starring Johnny Depp; and aquaman, from 2018, with Jason Momoa. In addition to them, they complete the list of January releases Suicide Squad: Reckoning, Shazam! and Godzilla vs Kong.
As for the horror category, fans will be well served with the debut of Orphan 2: Inception, released in 2022; and Annabelle 3: Homecoming. As for the novel, the tip is to watch the Adjusting a Love and The Struggle of a Lifetime, which tells the story of a boxer who fought against other prisoners in a Nazi concentration camp and now lives haunted by terrible memories and a sense of guilt. Finally freed from the horror of war, he will try to find his first love.
Another release on Prime Video worth mentioning is the sixth (and final) season of This Is Us, which hits the catalog on January 7th. The acclaimed drama series, which tells the story of the Pearson family, was nominated for several awards and stars Sterling K. Brown, Chrissy Metz, Milo Ventimiglia, Mandy Moore, Justin Hartley, Susan Watson, among others.
Other titles worth giving a chance are the thriller series Mystery at Sea and the long horror Down to the Boneswhich arrives for lease at the platform store.
