It should be remembered that the crime of the bus driver that shocked public opinion was committed on Monday the 3rd, after 4:30 a.m., when two criminals boarded the bus at the stop located at the intersection of Bernardino Escribano and Cullen, in the Vernazza neighborhood.

Faced with this situation, a civilian member of the City Police identified himself, took out his service weapon and fired at the assailants. At the scene, 16 shots were fired and a security camera recorded the moment in which the thieves ran away to the crossroads of a street where the Siena car was presumably waiting for them in which they finally escaped.

After the crime, drivers of 86 bus lines in the western suburbs, summoned by the Automotive Tramway Union (UTA), initiated a measure of force and made cuts to demand security on Route 3 and General Paz avenue, to the height of Lomas del Mirador.

So far, there are three men arrested for the fact: Alex Gabriel Barone (19) y Gabriel Alejandro Barone (24)accused of the crime of “homicide criminis causa, aggravated by the use of a firearm, in a real contest with robbery aggravated by the use of a firearm”y Rodrigo Pablo Pititto (22)who assumed to have stolen the car in which the criminals escaped.
