A leak has just revealed some of the games that will soon be added to the PS Plus Extra and Premium catalog. Big titles can be recovered at no additional cost, such as Horizon Forbidden West, Resident Evil 7: Biohazard or Borderlands 3.
The PS Plus is struggling to attract new subscribers. Despite its redesign in June 2022, the subscription gaming service even lost 1.6 million customers last year. To attract customers, Sony would do well to expand its catalog with big titles. Last month, PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers were able to get their hands on solid games like Devil May Cry 5, Life is Strange or Back 4 Blood. And in a few days, the catalog will be even fuller.
While waiting for Sony’s press release, we can count on billbil-kun’s revelations to know the identity of the new titles in preview. As a reminder, the leaker reveals the identity of the games offered as part of PlayStation Plus every month in advance. His information has always proven to be accurate; we can therefore rely on it (almost) with our eyes closed.
PS Plus: what PS4 and PS5 games were added in February?
Starting February 21, PS Plus Premium and Extra subscribers will be able to grab the following four games:
- Horizon Forbidden West
- Scarlet Nexus
- Resident Evil 7: Biohazard
- Borderlands 3
Other games that have not yet been unveiled will complete this qualitative batch.
Horizon Forbidden West
Horizon Forbidden West is the sequel toHorizon Zero Dawn. It plunges us into the heart of a post-apocalyptic open world in the shoes of Aloy, a formidable hunter of machines. The game was released exactly a year ago, which makes its integration into PS Plus as welcome as it is unexpected.
Scarlet Nexus
Scarlet Nexus takes shape in a dystopian Japan. Individuals can communicate with each other by thought thanks to brain waves. As monsters – the Others – threaten humanity, the player will play as a member of the Other Extermination Squad to defeat them.
Resident Evil 7: Biohazard
Resident Evil 7 Brilliantly takes up the codes of survival horror dear to the franchise. You play as Ethan, a poor soul searching for his missing wife. The protagonist ends up with the Bakers, a horrible family of cannibals. Exploration, puzzles, reactivity and well-placed bullets will allow you to survive this hell.
Borderlands 3
Borderlands 3 is a single-player and co-op first-person shooter. It gives you the choice between four different classes which each have their special combat skills (Moze can for example generate a mecha). Your objective will be to prevent the Calypso Twins from obtaining the greatest power in the galaxy.
