In the midst of the revolution that is taking place in the Parc des Princes with the imminent departure of the French star Kylian Mbappé, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) wants to take advantage of the situation to leave the Brazilian Neymar Jr.who has not been able to play officially since February due to injury.
According to the Spanish newspaper AS, PSG told Neymar that they are not going to sell him for less than 150 million euros, about $165 million dollarsbut that the club could accept a loan with a mandatory purchase in 2024 to save part of his important salary of between $33 and $43 million dollars annually.
On the other hand, RMC Sports indicated on Tuesday that the Parisian club would be willing to “make efforts” to get out of the player for whom he paid almost $244 million to Barcelona in 2017, a day after L’Equipe revealed that Neymar asked the club’s management for his wish to be transferred, information that was later denied by his own father.
According to the media, it is difficult for PSG to find a destination for a 31-year-old player who has been injured for more than six months. Although Neymar wants to return to Barcelona, coach Xavi Hernández is not interested and the club does not have the capital for the operation, as reported by L’equipe, so the options are reduced to Saudi Arabia or Brazil.
With the probable departure of Neymar and the increasingly latent departure of Kylian Mbappé, PSG is thus left without its attacking trident that made up the attackers together with the Argentine Lionel Messi, who since this coming season has played for Inter Miami in the Major League Soccer (MLS).
